About the Founder

María Camila Pascuas is the founder of Ágata María, a brand that was born in 2020 as her graduation project at Universidad Javeriana de Cali. Amidst the pandemic, she transformed an academic assignment into an innovative fashion proposal that quickly gained recognition and awards for its business model and social impact.

From the very beginning, she saw Ágata María’s potential as an international brand, capable of blending luxury, tradition, and art into unique pieces. She has not walked this journey alone; she has built the brand alongside her mother, Carolina Álvarez, with the unwavering support of her father, Mauricio Pascuas. Today, her sister, María Juliana Pascuas, is also part of the project, further strengthening the family legacy behind the brand.

Her vision and dedication have turned this project into her life’s purpose, striving for excellence, sophistication, and an artisanal approach that honors the identity and craftsmanship of indigenous communities.
